The Safety Village offers complimentary home safety checks to verify the proper functioning of your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide monitors.
If you are unable to climb a ladder to install your smoke alarm or change the batteries, we can assist.
Please note this is a popular service, so it may be several weeks before an appointment can be arranged.
We maintain a limited supply of smoke alarms/CO monitors available at no cost for residents of Cobb County facing financial difficulties, ensuring everyone has access to these critical safety tools.

Please submit your request at least 15 business days prior to your tour date to be considered.
Please read the following parameters prior to submitting your request:
A fire station tour is approximately 30 minutes.
Birthday parties are not allowed at fire stations.
Tours will not be scheduled on Sundays.
Fire Stations are secure facilities with limited public access. The crew remains on duty even while providing a tour. This means they may be called away suddenly, at which time your tour will abruptly end.
Additionally, fire sirens are extremely loud; if anyone in your group has auditory sensitivities, please be prepared with noise-cancelling devices.

Fire truck visits are a maximum of 1-hour.
No Birthday Parties, No HOA Events, No For-Profit Business Requests
Please note we are not able to provide fire trucks for day care centers or Pre-K programs.
We are not currently accepting requests for events on Sunday.
All requests will be considered; however, we reserve the right to decline or cease program participation due to time, funding, personnel, and equipment availability.
Please be aware that all units shall remain in service for emergencies which may require them to be late, unable to attend, or leave abruptly.
Please be advised you are required to provide the fire apparatus a clear exit from your parking lot or bus port throughout your event.
