If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions your permit application will be administratively denied under Cobb County Ordinance 6-206; however, this denial may be appealed to the Cobb County License Review Board. In order to file an appeal, you must first submit your application and payment. If you have any questions regarding permit denials, please call the Cobb Police Regulatory Services/Permits Unit at (770) 499-4408 prior to submitting your application.

You must pick up your permit in-person at our office.
Please bring your original immigration documents when you come to our office. If you were not born in the United States, but have had an permit issued by us previously, you may call our office at 770-449-4408 to confirm that we already have copies of your documents.
Permits that are purchased online will be available for pick up in our office on the following business day. If you have questions about your application, please call our office at 770-499-4408.
